They also have what they call premium seats which are just a slightly bigger seat (I must actually measure the difference but can't be more than an inch!) With plentiful, free on-site parking this 14 screen cinema offers great movie choice. which are in the centre seating area- they take up more than half the cinema and if you sit in them without paying for the privilege the staff will come and rightly so ask you to move, I just think the idea and the space it uses is not worth it and perhaps could be rethought, although I guess that's a corporate decision and not just for the Belfast Odeon.

A modern, centrally located 8-screen cinema located in Kennedy Centre, Belfast showing all the latest releases. I haven't had to do it in  a while so I'm hoping they've stopped the practice, but you used to have to choose 2 pricing structures depending on your seat location, sitting in the sweet stop around the middle of the theatre cost more than right at the back, too close at the front, or outside of the aisles. Belfast One will be hosting a FREE Open Air Cinema in association with Belfast Film Festival at the height of the summer on 21 and 22 July. ODEON Belfast is situated on Level 2 of Victoria Square Shopping Centre. You make your way there, buy your ticket, head over to the snacks stand buy something for double what you could get it elsewhere and head in to watch the movie.

On the positive side the film was Brilliant and the fact we had the cinema screen to ourselves was great. Last year’s Summer Cinema tickets were snapped up within a couple of hours of being released so, for 2019, movie-goers are being given two weeks’ notice of the release date. Does that sound really grumpy? Just going up the escalator from the car park fills me with joy and excitement before I have evens even the handbags, shoes, clothes and make up. Looking forward to seeing you at the next movie. They did give us a card to reduce parking cost but when we went to pay the machine declined it and ate it up. At Movie House we offer all our seats for the same cost – so unlike some cinemas, you won’t pay any extra. They also have what they call premium seats which are just a slightly bigger seat (I must actually measure the difference but can't be more than an inch!) The cinemas themselves are lovely with excellent sound and nice comfortable seats. How Do I Book? However  for me this is the third option if I am going to the cinema in Belfast and even lower down if I will be travelling from home! Factor in car parking and you need a small fortune, however if you go early midweek and are in town like we did it's more reasonable. Having said that, if you sign up for free to be an Odeon member you can be invited to their 'Screen Unseen' events. The prices are a bit steep an the new unassigned seat caper is a pain. Ps. The theater was large and had comfortable seating. It's a little bit pricey though - but in a really good location within Victoria Square Shopping Centre which has lots of restaurants for pre or post cinema food. It was amazing people dressed up and got up dancing. All in all I think there is room for improvement but as its never overly busy I don't believe we will get there. The snacks are particularly good, including one of the very few Ben and Jerrys cafes in Belfast which is an attraction in itself. Maybe a little pricier than the other cinemas in the city in regards to tickets, food and drink. I like all sorts of cinema that people would call 'slow', but I have a place in my heart for the big budget action blockbuster and if you are going to go for that kinda movie then you can't go wrong with the Odeon. Booking seats in advance is a. Once in there it's all fairly standard, apart from minor differences the seats have pretty much a similar layout and comfort level give or take. Getting the picture? Lovely free nibbles too (need more of it). Like I say though, I'm not sure if this is still the case, I didn't like it myself.A down side is that Odeon does seem noticeably more expensive than other cinemas, so the comfortable environment is good, but you pay for it, and it's not to say that others aren't comfortable. The screens are crystal clear and the sound is also the same.

It's in Victoria Square so obviously surrounded by bars and restaurants so it can easily be a way to start a night out...... Great cinema with comfortable seats and lots of screens.

which are in the centre seating area- they take up more than half the cinema and if you sit in them without paying for the privilege the staff will come and rightly so ask you to move, I just think the idea and the space it uses is not worth it and perhaps could be rethought, although I guess that's a corporate decision and not just for the Belfast Odeon. Love the odeon and would always go here. Your trust is our top concern, so businesses can't pay to alter or remove their reviews.

It's no cleaner than other cinemas, bigger or more comfortable, it is however less accessible if coming by car as you either have to use the (very) expensive Victoria Centre car park or park a good distance away at another car park or on-street parking.By the time you add all this up you've paid a lot more to go to a cinema like any other (albeit with a better picture quality). Parking is available within the shopping centre in the underground car park. Leave the navigation and driving to someone else while you enjoy the scenic ride and listen to behind-the-scenes gossip and filming facts from your guide. For two people to go see a film in 3d, it is £16. As my very witty younger sister said recently at a 3D film, "Turn around Tia, It's like we're at a pedophile convention!" I can't really think of much to report because of it's homogenized and generic nature.
