In addition, the government established the Tuskegee Health Benefit Program, which provided free medical care for all living participants, as well as the wives, widows, and children who had been infected during the course of the study.
I chose The Tuskegee Syphilis Study by Fred Gray because he was the lawyer in the lawsuits against the government, and I thought that he would be able to provide the most in-depth analysis of the event because he was actually involved in it.
