Shots cleverly linger on certain scenes to draw out the impressive sets, while adeptly tracking the action during sword fights or zombie attacks. Netflix does it again! It made me feel better when I was pissed and when I was pissed it brought me back to reality!!
When Ryan and Jay face off in a title fight in the second half of Season 2, for instance, it's not immediately clear who the favorite is, or who the audience is even supposed to root for in the battle of brother against brother. I think it was George A. Retired stock car driver ! What we know about the Disney+ streaming service: It's getting ready to rival Netflix. By the time the show picks up in Season 2, the zombies are coming closer and closer to the capitol, and those inside the palace are still scheming against the prince, with a few even attempting to try to control the undead plague to their advantage.

Essentially a vehicle for tough guy, marine type character actor Frank Grillo (most famous for The Purge series), it is a gripping saga about masculinity, identity, sexuality, and (surrogate) family. Honestly, between this outstanding series and the Oscar-winning Parasite alone, South Korea has firmly established itself at the forefront of global film and television. Since the time, Kingdom Season 2 has finished it’s episodes everywhere we have seen fans requesting Netflix to bring forth their favorite series, but till now there are no official announcements regarding the Kingdom Season 3. Set in Southern California against the blood- and sweat-soaked backdrop of mixed martial arts, the series stars Frank Grillo as Alvey Kulina, a former champion fighter who now runs Navy St., a gym where he trains current fighters, including his sons, Jay (series standout Jonathan Tucker) and Nate (Nick Jonas), and former champion Ryan Wheeler (Matt Lauria), who at the start of the series has just reentered the outside world after serving a prison sentence.
So we could be getting even more South Korean zombie goodness in the future. Blood and Gore galore. But most of all, it speaks about our society more than one could believe: it is about migration, about the happy few exploiting a large mass of people in misery and in starvation, leaving them out of their lands again and again, as if they were just garbage. Meanwhile, our hero the crown prince, played by Ju Ji-hoon, tries to get to the bottom of the matter, but he isn't doing it out of the goodness of his heart. Kingdom truly has something for everyone, and is something everyone must watch. The shots in both the action scenes and dramatic yet everyday scenes that were filmed are superb.

Tucker, in particular, is explosive as Jay, a wild and volatile but incredibly gifted fighter whose instability and unreliability have led to him being written off and labeled a wasted talent, but who fights his way to the top over the course of the first and second seasons. Via some believable shenanigans, the zombie plague spreads, and our prince goes to another city that's infected and tries to figure out how to fix the whole mess. It’s been a long road for creator Byron Balasco, and all the cast and crew, to finally see Kingdom on the platform it deserves. What a great series even though I am not a fan of subtitles I could not wait until the next episode. The show is pretty dense, but it's so exciting, and, at only six episodes, the plot moves swiftly as the characters find themselves deeper and deeper in trouble.
I would like to say that what most attracted me to this series is the fact that the zombie Genre had long been quite unexploited and Kingdom is a rare gem because not only it's an era drama/horror series but also all the things I've stated before.
